PR Returns to MOUZ as Organization Completes CS2 Rebuild

Oldřich "PR" Nový is back with MOUZ.

The German organization has completed the signing of the 18-year-old Czech rifler from GamerLegion, finalizing the latest stage of its Counter-Strike roster rebuild.

For PR, however, this is not an entirely new destination.

Before joining GamerLegion, he spent approximately a year and a half playing for MOUZ NXT, the organization's academy project.

Now he returns as a full member of the main roster.

From Academy Prospect to Tier-One Player

PR joined MOUZ NXT in 2023 and developed inside the organization's highly successful talent system.

Rather than promoting him directly to the senior squad, MOUZ eventually allowed him to move to GamerLegion in January 2025.

That move gave the Czech rifler something academy competition could not: regular experience against established international teams.

During his time with GamerLegion, PR appeared at several major LAN events and gained experience on Counter-Strike's biggest stages, including Major appearances.

Now MOUZ believe he is ready to return.

PR averaged a 1.13 LAN rating during 2025, although his numbers have fallen to around 1.05 on LAN so far this year.

The potential, however, remains obvious.

MOUZ Continue Their Youth-First Philosophy

PR's arrival fits perfectly with the philosophy that has defined MOUZ in recent years.

Rather than relying entirely on expensive superstar transfers, the organization has repeatedly developed young players internally and moved them into the highest level of competition.

The current roster takes that idea particularly far.

Four of MOUZ's five players — along with coach sycrone — have now passed through the organization's development structure.

PR joins xertioN, torzsi, Spinx and xelex in the starting five.

His arrival follows the departures of Brollan and Jimpphat, who have joined HEROIC and Aurora respectively.

MOUZ had already promoted xelex earlier in the year, while jL temporarily played with the team during the transition.

PR now takes the remaining permanent position.

A Familiar Environment

One of the advantages for MOUZ is familiarity.

PR already understands the organization and has existing relationships with people inside its system.

That could make his adaptation considerably easier than a conventional international transfer.

The question is whether his individual ability can translate into consistent performances against the world's strongest teams.

MOUZ clearly believe it can.

First Test Coming Soon

PR is expected to make his official MOUZ debut during BLAST Bounty Season 2.

The team will then begin preparing for the Esports World Cup in August.

MOUZ have never been afraid to place young players into demanding positions.

With PR, they are doing it again.

Only this time, the prospect they developed has left, gained experience elsewhere and returned ready for the main team.
